shopping and shoes!

Scotty and I went shopping this weekend and I had a blast! We both needed some more work clothes and found some great sales. We are big bargain shoppers, for sure! But we definately did splurge on these, though!!!

Scotty boy's boots

And my boots!

We went to Cavender's because he's been really needing some new ones. We picked him some out then he told me I should try some on and see if I find any I like. Well, that was stupid. Of course I'd find some I like! If he tells me to shop, I will shop! I never thought I'd own a pair of real cowboy (or girl) boots, but I LOVE THEM!

I also got some more of these...

I have a plaid pair that I got about a year ago and they are the most comfortable shoes ever! Since we are going to Washington, D.C. (in just 3 weeks!!!) then I thought I could really use some more comfy walking shoes. Plus, the plaid ones are super cute but they just don't go with everything. I do believe everyone needs to own a pair of Sperry's!

snow and love

We went to visit Scotty's family Wednesday night and I took a few shots of us playing with Ashtyn. When we got there she looked at me and said "AMY" with a big smile then looked at Scott and pointed and said "Scotty!" That's the first time we have heard her say our names real clearly and we LOVED it! She was so excited and sounded sooo sweet when she said "Scotty!" She said it over and over. And before we left we said "I love you" and she said it back and we said it back and forth and back and forth about 20 times.. it was PRECIOUS!

This girl is a monkey! She was climbing on everything.

Thursday we got SNOW!!! Finally! :) We took mom flowers, cake and a gift for her birthday Thursday night and when we woke up Friday morning it was BEAUTIFUL. I took a few pics Friday morning before I had to go to work.

We went to Cattleman's with Josh and Jac for Valentine's Day. We had a great dinner and too much fun afterwards at Hopkins Icehouse and dance party at the Wenzel's! :)

Luke had Sadie Hawkins Saturday night and his date was Adrian. She's a sweetie and they've been good friends forever. Luke said they danced all night and had a great time! Makes me miss the good ole highschool dances! They were really cute in their matching woodstock shirts.

BUNCO, baby!!!

I've joined a bunco group and I love it! We had our first one last Thursday and it was alot of fun. I knew about half of the girls there. It was fun getting to meet new friends and laugh and act stupid together. I'm so looking forward to next months bunco already! We will do theme's each month which I think makes it a little more exciting. This month was Mardi Gras theme. My month will be October.. so bring on the ideas early if you have any! I was thinking maybe October Fest, like Germany type foods and decor..?? I may just have to stick with Halloween, though because I can't come up with many cute ideas for October Fest. I'm just not big on Halloween decorations, but I guess I can be for one night! :)
