Just thought I would share this with the few ladies who read my blog. I was cleaning house Thursday morning, anxiously awaiting Scotty's homecoming, when I was stumped on how in the world to clean a lampshade?!? Mine in the living room are an off white and I can see dust collecting on them. I've hit them, trying to get the dust off but that doesn't exactly work. I though about "googling" it or posting a question on my facebook status. When I had the bright idea to try my lint roller, and it worked awesome!
When Scott and I were walking into church Sunday morning I had on a black jacket and looked down and said DANG, I meant to use the lint roller this morning and forgot. Then I began to tell him about my new discovery of how to clean our lamp shades and he said that's a good idea, you should let other people know somehow. And I said OH! I can blog about it! So, there's a tip from me!
aren't you smart! I just make sure no one touches my dirt so it stays in an even layer and maybe no one will notice! lol

awesome, i think the handheld swiffer dusters work good too.

this is great to know! I had no idea and I'm constantly trying to figure out how to get the lint/dust off my shades..you should see how bad they are! haha thanks friend
